Rebekah Sunshine

Rebekah Sunshine was born in 1972, in Southampton, the lovechild of a wannabe Nun & a TT Motorcycle Racer. She is known for her compulsive raw, personal, expressionist work that is subjectively, objectively & culturally biographical. Her life's work explores 'What we show, what we hide & who gets to decide?'

NEWS - New Upcoming Exhibition OCTOBER 2025
The Shellfish B*stard Show
by Rebekah Sunshine, Margate, Kent.
A return to the exhibition circuit, this busy salon style show of works tempts you to step into Rebekah Sunshine’s mischievous and unapologetic world with The Shellfish B*stard Show. This bold exhibition blends humour, vulnerability, and raw honesty, using sharp wit and playful imagery to unpick ideas of identity, desire, and the messiness of being human. Sunshine’s work balances the absurd with the intimate, inviting us to laugh, squirm, and reflect all at once. Equal parts confession and performance, The Shellfish Bastard Show is not just an exhibition—it’s an experience in confronting the truths we’d rather keep tucked away, with a wink and a sting.
October 1st - 7th 2025. The Pie Factory Gallery. Margate. Kent.
