Rebekah Sunshine
Rebekah Sunshine was born in 1972, the lovechild of a wannabe Nun & a TT Motorcycle Racer. She describes her self as a 'Cultural Mongrel' having lived a childhood between the notorious red light district of inner city Southampton and the leafy suburbs depending upon whether her Mother & Father were in favour or not with their families. Sunshine is known for her raw, personal, darkly humoured expressionist paintings, Anonymous Photographic Portraits & Secret Session Commissions. Her work is subjectively, objectively & culturally biographical fed from the overarching theme which informs every aspect of her work 'What we show, what we hide & who gets to decide?'
